Question 1

Is nano coating safe for kids and pets?

Accepted Answer

protectME® Textile is not classified as a hazardous substance under EU CLP regulation, with no skin or eye irritation identified in available testing. We recommend letting the coating fully cure before children or pets have close contact with the treated sofa.

Question 2

How long is the nano coating warranty?

Accepted Answer

Our protectME® Textile treatment comes with a 3-Year Future Peak Warranty, subject to the applicable warranty terms and proper care of the treated fabric.

Question 3

Will it change how my sofa looks or feels?

Accepted Answer

No. The coating is designed to be invisible once cured and not affect color or texture.

Question 4

Does it make my sofa stain-proof?

Accepted Answer

No treatment makes fabric completely stain-proof. This type of coating is designed to help most spills bead on the surface rather than soak in immediately, giving you a window to wipe them away before they set — intended to reduce staining risk, not eliminate it entirely.

Question 5

Should I clean my sofa before applying nano coating?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we strongly recommend it, so the treatment is applied to a clean surface rather than over existing dirt or stains. [See our sofa cleaning service →]

Question 6

Can this be applied to leather sofas?

Accepted Answer

We assess each material individually — fabric and leather respond differently, and we'll recommend the right approach for your specific sofa during inspection.
